Well-known sentence that can be heard among Anglo-Saxon workers
at the end of the week. Night Life focuses on those,
in great number, who choose to spend their leisure time in
night life and partying. A parallel reality, as short as a
week-end, made of joys which are often artificial, and which
can appear to a critical observer, as very superficial and
full of pretence…A world also, made of music and dance…
Series partly inspired by a
stay in New York (99/2001). These paintings, sometimes still
pending, are preliminary works to life-sized scenes.
